I keep getting pressured to update my blog, so I guess I will! A lot has happened since the last time I blogged...We moved across the country. We said goodbye to Fort Lewis on February 12th, and safely made it to Colorado Springs on February 18th. The 1,500 mile journey was pretty easy going, considering a 3 year old, 1 year old, and a dog were our passengers.
We were very blessed to be able to find a house within two days of arriving here. I love love LOVE it! It is a 3 bed 2 1/2bath townhouse that is only 3 years old. The boys are sharing a room for the first time and that has taken some time for them to get adjusted too.
Lincoln turned one on March 10th, which was the same day Jon went back to work. Our little guy has not had the best of luck health wise over the last month. He had a stomach bug, RSV and Pnuemonia at the same time, an ear infection, and then a stomach bug again. POOR GUY! Needless to say, we are ready to get our Lincoln back!
Kiernan is adjusting very well to life here. He has taken a while to get adjusted to the altitude of 6,200ft. We are working very hard at getting him potty trained so that he can start preschool in a few months. He did start swim lessons last week, but he is not the most teachable student in his class! I guess it will just take him a while to get use to be in the pool with someone other then Grandma Barbara!
Jon is doing good. He is with the 10th Special Forces Group, and is really liking his new team. He is very anxious to find someone to go rock-climbing and cliff-diving with...NOT ME!!! We did buy him a bright yellow, 1975 Ford F100. It is his new hobby, and with a second vehicle I know can take the boys to playgroups and story times!
Most of you don't know that I have started a business out of my home. I work with a group of women called The MOM Team. I don't do sales, parties, or stock inventory. I never even have to leave my house...All my work is done on the computer or phone. We work along side(NOT for) an international health and wellness company (grandma, you use to work for them) and all I do is let families know the company is out there and open up a membership account if they are interested. It's easy, fun, and the best part is I can do it with Kiernan and Lincoln by my side!
I have tons of videos and pictures that I will post very soon!
